1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

When you use Bids2Go, we may collect information you provide, including:

• Account information: your name, username, email address, telephone number, password, and account type (Job Lister or Pro).
• Business or professional information: for Pros, your company name and details, service area, licenses, certifications, insurance, or other credentials you choose to add to your profile.
• Project information: project descriptions, photographs, and the general project location.
• Communications: messages sent through the Bids2Go platform and messages you send to us.
• Reviews and feedback you submit about other users or about Bids2Go.
• Billing information: your name, billing address, and purchase history. Card details are collected by our payment processor, not by Bids2Go (see Payments).

Information collected automatically

We may also automatically collect technical and usage information, such as IP address, device and browser information, pages viewed, referring sources, and interactions with our website and advertising.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use information to:

• Operate, maintain, and improve Bids2Go;
• Establish and maintain accounts and listings;
• Facilitate communication between Job Listers and Pros;
• Process fees paid to Bids2Go;
• Provide customer support;
• Prevent fraud, spam, and misuse, and maintain security;
• Measure website and advertising performance;
• Communicate with users; and
• Comply with applicable legal requirements.

3. Information Visible to Other Users

Some information is shown to other users so that Bids2Go can work:

• Pro profiles: the name, business information, and credentials a Pro adds to their profile are visible to Job Listers and other visitors. Pros are responsible for the accuracy of the information they share. Bids2Go does not independently verify credentials, and users should confirm any licensing, insurance, or other qualifications directly before hiring.
• Project listings: a preview of each project, such as its title and general area, may be shown publicly on Bids2Go. The full project description and photographs are visible to Pros with an active subscription. Listings are displayed without the Job Lister’s identity or exact address.
• Reviews may be displayed publicly along with the reviewer’s display name.

4. Job Lister Privacy

Bids2Go is designed to allow Job Listers to post projects and communicate with Pros without publicly displaying their identity or exact project location.

Job Listers decide when to provide additional identifying, contact, or location information to a Pro. Information voluntarily shared with another user may be retained by that recipient, and Bids2Go cannot control how it is used once shared.

Bids2Go may access identifying information when reasonably necessary to operate the service, protect users, enforce its Terms, or comply with law.

5. Private Communications

Communications between Job Listers and Pros are private from users who are not participants in that conversation.

Messages are stored by Bids2Go and may be accessed and reviewed by authorized Bids2Go administrators when reasonably necessary for customer support, investigating complaints or suspected misuse, maintaining platform security, enforcing our Terms, or complying with legal requirements.

Bids2Go provides the communication platform but does not routinely collect or track bids, estimates, agreed project prices, or payments made between Job Listers and Pros.

Please do not share sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, or passwords in messages.

6. Payments

Payments to Bids2Go are processed by Stripe. This includes recurring Pro subscription payments and Job Lister listing purchases. Card information is entered directly with Stripe, and Bids2Go does not store complete credit or debit card information. We keep a record of your purchases (such as the item, amount, date, and billing name and address) for accounting, tax, and customer support purposes. Stripe’s handling of your information is described in the Stripe Privacy Policy.

Bids2Go does not process or facilitate payments between Job Listers and Pros for projects or services arranged through the platform.

7. Cookies, Analytics & Advertising

Bids2Go uses cookies and similar technologies to operate and improve the website, keep you signed in, understand website usage, measure advertising effectiveness, and provide relevant advertising.

These technologies may be provided by third parties, including analytics and advertising providers such as Google and Meta, and may collect information about your browser, device, website activity, and interactions with advertisements. Where required by applicable law, users will be provided appropriate choices regarding these technologies.

Your cookie and advertising choices

• Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent you from signing in or using parts of Bids2Go.
• You can manage Google ad personalization at Google Ad Settings and opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
• You can adjust Meta ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account settings.
• You can opt out of interest-based advertising from many participating companies through the Digital Advertising Alliance and the Network Advertising Initiative.

Where required by law, we honor browser-based opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control. Because there is no common industry standard for “Do Not Track” browser signals, we do not currently respond to them.

8. Security Checks (Google reCAPTCHA)

Our login and registration forms use Google reCAPTCHA to protect Bids2Go from spam and automated abuse. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information, such as device and browser data, and sends it to Google for analysis. Your use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

9. Sharing Your Information

Bids2Go does not sell users’ personal information.

We may share information with service providers that help us operate Bids2Go, including payment processing, hosting, communications, email delivery, analytics, advertising, security, and other business services. These providers may use the information only to perform services for us.

Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect Bids2Go or its users, investigate fraud or misuse, enforce our agreements, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of the business.

10. Communications

Bids2Go may send account, listing, expiration, security, billing, and other service-related communications. We may also send promotional communications where permitted.

Users may unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the email, but necessary account and service communications may still be sent.

11. Data Security & Retention

Bids2Go uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information. No Internet-based service or electronic storage system can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity on your account.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate Bids2Go, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and comply with legal requirements.

When an account is closed, we delete or de-identify its personal information within a reasonable period, except where we need to keep certain records for the purposes above. Messages you sent to other users may remain visible to those users.

12. Your Privacy Choices

• Update your information: you can review and update most account and profile information from your account dashboard.
• Close your account: you can ask us to close your account and delete your personal information by contacting us at the address below.
• Marketing emails: use the unsubscribe link in any promotional email.

Depending upon where you live, applicable law may provide rights concerning access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information and other privacy choices.

Privacy requests may be submitted to Admin@Bids2go.com. To protect your account, we may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

13. U.S. State Privacy Rights

Residents of certain states, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, and others with comprehensive privacy laws, may have the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect and how it is used and shared;
• Access and receive a copy of their personal information;
• Correct inaccurate personal information;
• Delete their personal information, subject to certain exceptions; and
• Opt out of targeted advertising and, where applicable, the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information.

To exercise these rights, email Admin@Bids2go.com. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, and if we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

14. Where Your Information Is Stored

Bids2Go is operated in the United States and intended for users in the United States. Information we collect is stored and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.

15. Third-Party Services

Bids2Go may use or provide links to third-party websites and services. Those third parties maintain their own privacy practices, and their handling of information is governed by their respective privacy policies.

16. Age Requirement

Bids2Go is limited to users 18 years of age or older.

Bids2Go is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from someone under 18, we will delete it.

17. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Bids2Go, our services, or applicable requirements change. The current version will be posted on Bids2Go.com with its effective date. If we make material changes, we will provide notice on the website or by email before they take effect.
